Right of withdrawal
Regarding the contract about the purchase of gold by Goldcourier (see §6 of these terms and conditions) the consumer (i.e. a natural person who is signing the contract for a purpose that is neither commercial nor can it be attributed to the person's independent professional occupation) has no right of withdrawal since it is a purchase of items via Goldcourier and no long-distance transaction according to § 312 b BGB is given.
However the customer, who has signed the contract for services provided by Goldcourier (see § 3 of these terms and conditions), hast the right of withdrawal. Goldcourier therefore informs as follows:
Right of withrawal
You may revoke your contractual agreement without having to provide a reason for doing so within 14 days in writing (e.g. by letter, fax, e-mail). The deadline shall commence following receipt of this notification in text form, but not prior to conclusion of the relevant contract and not before performance of our duty of information pursuant to article 246 § 2 in connection with § 1 sub-section 1 and 2 of the Introductory Statue to the Civil Code (EGBGB) as well as our obligations in accordance with §312g, sub-section 1, sentence 1 BGB in conjunction with article 246 § 3 EGBGB. To observe the revocation period it is sufficient to send off the revocation in time. The revocation must be addressed to:

Consequences of revocation
In the case of an effective revocation the mutually received benefits are to be returned and if so derived profits are to be returned. If you cannot return to us the performance received, in part or in whole, or if you can only return it in worse condition, you are required to offer compensation of equal value. This may involve your continued performance of your contractual payment obligations for the time leading up to the cancellation. You are obliged to refund any open payments within 30 days. This period shall commence for you upon sending your cancellation notice, and for us upon receipt thereof.
Special notes
Your right of withdrawal ends prematurely if the contract has been ended on both sides upon your explicit request before the right to withdraw has been exercised.
