Data protection regulations
1.The GoldCourier website is run by the company Deutsche Edelmetallhandelsgesellschaft mbh (hereinafter known as “GoldCourier”). GoldCourier uses the personal details provided by you (name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number, bank account details) in accordance with the provisions of the German Data Protection Act.
2.Your personal data, to the extent that it is necessary for the justification, development, or modification of the contractual relationship (inventory data), is only used for the purpose of fulfilling the contract. For example for package delivery or messages to the address as stated by the customer. Any further use of your basic data for the purposes of advertising, market research or to tailor the GoldCourier services requires your explicit consent. By registering you gave GoldCourier your consent to send offers and company advertisements. GoldCourier can therefore use your postal address and e-mail address to send assisting messages or advertise its own services. You can stop further messages from being sent at any time by writing to GoldCourier at GoldCourier, Datenschutz, Schlagmühle 1, 36396 Hintersteinau or sending an e-mail to datenschutz@goldcourier.co.uk. GoldCourier will then block your details for this purpose.
3.The personal details required in order to enable and account for using the GoldCourier service (usage data) are initially only used to execute the sales agreement concluded between you and GoldCourier. This usage data includes features relating to your identity as a user, information on the beginning, end and scope of the respective usage, and information on the teleservices used by the customer. We will also use this usage data for the purposes of advertising, market research or to tailor our teleservices in order to create userprofiles under pseudonyms. You are entitled to and can, at anytime, revoke your consent to this.
4.You can contact us by telephone, fax or e-mail if you want more informationwant to retrieve/revoke the consent explicitly provided by you regarding the use of your data, or want to stop your user data from being processed.. All data is automatically deleted when memberships are cancelled.
5.The GoldCourier online shop uses cookies – small files containing configuration information. These cookies are stored on your own computer and help to determine user-specific settings and perform special user functions – e.g. storing your own data in an order form. All website functions can be used even without cookies, so you can turn these off in your browser if you wish.
