Where How can I order a GoldPack? Only online or also via telephone?
A:
You can also order the GoldPack via our free hotline by dialling 0800 6121659. Our GoldCourier staff will gladly answer any questions you may have.

I have filled out the form, how long does it take for the GoldPack to be delivered?
A:
If an order is received before 5pm during the week , the GoldPack is generally posted that same day. If your order is made on a weekend, delivery may take 1-3 working days.
Q:
Why do I only receive the amount X £? The jewellery item was much more expensive when I bought it.
A:
The purchasing price is determined by experts and is based on the weight, as well as the number of carats of the precious metal contained in the jewellery, not the hypothetical value of the item in an undamaged, intact condition. The price offered by GoldCourier may therefore be lower than the resale value.
Q:
Are there any costs for me when selling my gold to GoldCourier?
A:
No. You don’t have any costs when selling your gold to GoldCourier. Postage costs and GoldPack insurance are borne by us. Even if you ask for your gold to be returned, you still don’t have any additional costs. You just have to bear the costs for returning the cheque (e.g. postage) or refunding the transfer.
Q:
Why doesn’t GoldCourier provide any information regarding the payment via telephone or on the website?
A:
Before analysing your gold, there is no way of determining the percentage of the pure gold content. We therefore cannot guarantee you a price via telephone.
Q:
Can I decide against the transaction even after I have received the payment?
A:
GoldCourier offers a "100% satisfaction or gold-back guarantee". If you are not satisfied with the payment, you can use this guarantee to withdraw from the contract by contacting us within 10 days of the payment notification date. After this deadline, you then have a further seven days to refund the amount sent by GoldCourier. In this case GoldCourier will return your gold to you.

Is it safe to send valuable jewellery items by post?
A:
Yes. We insure your delivery against theft and damage up to a value of 400 £. If you think that your gold jewellery is worth more than 400 £, simply request another GoldPack. Our GoldPack has neutral design in order to not disclose its content.
Q:
What exactly does the GoldPack contain?
A:
The GoldPack contains all the documents you need to send your gold. It comprises a padded, sealable envelope, a cardboard box and a form which you must complete with your preferred payment details. Of course GoldCourier bears the postage costs for all of your deliveries.
Q:
What sort of items does GoldCourier buy?
A:
GoldCourier buys any items containing gold: Chains, rings, brooches, charms, earrings, cufflinks, pins, dental gold, scrap gold etc. We mainly focus on gold, although we will also be happy to pay you money for other valuable metals such as platinum and palladium.
Q:
What about diamonds and other precious stones?
A:
GoldCourier focuses on processing gold and other precious metals. Although we do accept jewellery containing precious stones, we cannot offer payment for them. If you value these stones, we thus recommend you remove them before sending us the gold items.
Q:
When do I receive my payment?
A:
GoldCourier will transfer your payment within 24 hours of assessing your gold. Please note that the transfer can take up to 3 working days.
Q:
What happens to items not containing any precious metals?
A:
GoldCourier does not buy any items that do not precious metals, nor do we buy silver. GoldCourier will not return these items to you, unless you request this within 10 days of receiving notification that your items do not contain any precious metals. All relevant information can be found in our general terms and conditions.
Q:
Why am I being asked for my bank account details?
A:
Payments can only be made via transfer to your bank account. The experience shows that bank transfers are the quicker option.
